Wills Creek Agricultural Committee
The Wills Creek Agricultural Committee will be responsible for coordination
of the Leatherwood Creek Pasture Management Program. Leatherwood Creek
is a subwatershed of the Wills Creek Watershed which is responsible for

will be an educational tool for area schools to learn more about water
quality and area watershed issues. In addition to the CD-ROM, an area
watershed information booklet will be developed to inform Wills Creek
Watershed Residents about local watershed characteristics and concerns.
Other activities include the publishing of the "Wills Creek Watershed
News" newsletter and assistance in the coordinating the Wills Creek
Volunteer Monitoring Program. The following individuals have agreed to

Wills Creek Monitoring Committee
As part of the Wills Creek 319 Project, the Wills Creek Monitoring Committee
is taking the initial steps in gathering much needed water quality data
throughout the Wills Creek Watershed. In order to fully assess water quality,
the committee will be responsible for gathering chemical, biological,
and physical habitat assessment data. Committee efforts will focus on
screening subwatersheds for evidence of acid mine drainage (AMD) and sedimentation.
To assist with the data gathering process and further build public awareness,
the Monitoring Committee is planning and coordinating the Wills Creek
Volunteer Monitoring Program. The following individuals have agreed to
sit on the Monitoring Committee.
